Subject: Did you not just listen to what he just said?
To those of you "clowns" calling people "clowns"" for merely taking what JFK plainly stated. He spoke of multiple things in this speech. He said this himself,
...
He spoke of the Bay of Pigs disaster (or though it would seem) as this was not long after that incident.
Absolutely.
However he even said himself that he speaks of more than one issue in this speech and it is very clearly in the midst of it.
For one, Let me ask, What is wrong with it if someone got this from a
"""conspiracy site""" ? .... Just what is that? I did not get this from a """conspiracy site""" whatever tf that is, and also, What is wrong with that if someone did? Not like the PRESS is going to tell them, And he mentioned the danger of this did he not?
JFK ***Cleary says himself, right here in this speech that we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless *conspiracy.
He also mentioned secret socities and how we are opposed to them, The fact some of you are saying ""he wasnt talking about them""" is very insulting, So then ***why do i hear him audibly mentioning it? ......It boggles my mind that this man, who they obviously killed for being too verbally loose at the podium, can say this and youll mock people for following what he said himself. Is there no conspiracy?
Is there no coercion? Is there no covert means?
Do you mean to tell us, that the Press informs the people? ---Hahahaha Good lord what a poor soul that would believe a lying boot lick like you. They do nothing but Lie to the people every single day in this country. He mentioned censorship, to which we are seeing insane levels of censorship across a vast array of means, on platforms and media, that this country has never ever seen before, and certainly not in his time. What we see today, he clearly was speaking of. He wasnt alluding to just "communism"" in the sense*** that YOU slandering lying morons mean eastern communism. America is currently caught within a death struggle between fascism and communism right now. The presidential "candidates"" we are "allowed"" to select from look like total idiots compared to the eloquent dialect of presidents from this era. Whether you are for Trump or for Biden, Both of them sound as if they are speaking to a nation of retards. It doesnt even compare. The people that i know every single day, that fight each other (Hegelian dialect, tutored Marx) couldnt even write their own names, let alone have the attention span to sit and listen to something like this, so you vultures have to know their fluoride corroded minds are susceptible to your influence. They would not last 5 minutes, let alone to have the vocabulary in their smooth, drug riddled brains to understand what men like JFK were even speaking of.
He never once said in this speech, that he was ***ONLY talking about Eastern factions and forms of communism.
YOU people are saying that. We are literally just taking what the man said and applying it to today, and it is striking. Almost prophetic. I suspect many of you are literal FBi and CIA washup liars sent here to quell the people from waking up from the stupor you have placed them in. The whole latter half of this speech, He speaks of tactics and techniques that we have only now recently seen being put against this country. It is like you are banking on the hope, that the American people or anyone here listening to this (provided they are actually listening) will just ignore what he just said and believe your shallow frantic slander and lies.
Absolutely.

Subject: To the clowns who say this was about secret societies
What did Kennedy himself tell his audience his speech was about that night?
"My topic tonight is a more sober one of concern to publishers as well as ... editors. I want to talk about our common responsibilities in the face of a common danger. The events of recent weeks may have helped to illuminate that challenge for some."
What was that danger? What was that challenge revealed in the weeks before?
The Bay of Pigs invasion had happened just ten days before, and Kennedy had already accepted presidential responsibility for that fiasco. He was thus not pointing the finger at the CIA or some secret society. Imagine the controversy if Kennedy had tried to blame the CIA. Even if they were out of his control he would not as president have confided that to the press. No, the calm reaction of the audience demonstrates they knew that was not what he was doing. The "common danger" was obviously and undeniably the perceived threat of communism, the Soviet Union, and it's proxy Cuba. How then is this a "Secret Societies Speech"?
So, his subject was the Cold War. What was his focus?
"And my question tonight is whether additional tests should not now be adopted."
Immediately before that he expresses concern that in the absence of hot war publishers "recognized only the tests of journalism and not the tests of national security."
He precedes that by talking of an enemy that "openly boasted" about being able to read in the papers what it used to have to use means such as espionage to find. Do secret societies openly boast? Of course not. They are secret! They don't do anything "openly"! He is obviously talking about the Soviets. Throughout the speech the enemy referred to is the Soviets. The Cold War is repeatedly alluded to and called by name twice. Secret Societies are mentioned only once, and only with reference to asking the press to consider the need for greater secrecy. How then is this a "Secret Societies Speech"?

Subject: This speech is MOST DEFINITELY about secret societies
To all the naysayers, trolls, shills and general morons, this speech is referring to the MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX, which is a secret movement(not so
...
much anymore) that president Eisenhower warned the American about during his farewell speech.
And don't say it has anything to do with communism or bay of pigs or any of that nonsense. He was speaking about the very same forces within our govt that killed him shortly after this speech. It's as simple as that. If you can't see then you're not trying hard enough. Listen to the speed again.
The very same forces that publicly executed Kennedy are the same forces that are pushing for war against Syria today. Nothing has changed in 50 years!! His speech has more meaning today than it ever did.

Subject: Hearing what you want vs what is said.
First its a great speech, no matter what you take it to mean or what you think its about. One of the very best in the last 50 years at least, and one of
...
my personal favorites.
That being said; The speech the speech serves multiple purposes.
1. To appeal to the newspaper publishers (media) to be careful where matters of national security are concerned.
2. To clarify the ways and means of the communist regimes they were fighting either openly (Vietnam), covertly (Cuba) or in cases such as the cold war (Russia).
3. To ensure to the powers behind the media, that his administration would be as forthcoming and open as national security will allow.
4. To make sure that they (the press) understand their true and most important task; to inform the people to best safeguard their present and future. Specifically any undue and unlawful secrecy in government specifically his administration.
Personally I think he may have made some implications where he spoke on the repugnance of secrets, secret societies, and secret oaths. I do not see any other reason he should have made such comments. They were not required to make his point, to me those words were "extra". Why he made the comments like that, only he knows, but the fact he made them they way he did, implies more than the rest of the speech states.
We can argue all day about it being about secret societies, or about communism, but in the end its about both. Too choose one aspect and claim that's it, belittles the speech and shows how little we as a people actually listen to what's said versus what we think or are told is said.
Read it, or listen to it again without your preconceived notions, without the Utube titles, and NOT from a conspiracy website or mindset. Do that with an open mind, hear whats said as it is and not what you wish or what somebody told you to hear in it, and hopefully it will start a chain reaction of careful thought, rather than blind acceptance. Then we won't have to worry about being led to our fate, but rather create our own.

This was in the wake of the failed Bay of Pigs disaster, which Kennedy blamed, rightly so, on the CIA. He was talking to the press about their cooperation

with the CIA, if you read between the lines. Had they helped expose the plot before it happened, it would likely not have been able to go forward, and many lives needlessly lost would have been saved.

You must also remember that this is not the only forefather talking of secret societies in America's past.
This was also talked about by Washington (pre-Communism), ... Jefferson (pre-Communism), Franklin (pre-Communism), Lincoln (pre-Communism), Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Nixon, and the list goes on.
Besides if JFK ment Communists, then I'm sure he'd just say, Secret Communist Societies!

Folks, it is just COMMUNISM that President Kennedy was ALSO talking about were the SECRET SOCIETIES that run America BEHIND the scenes. You have to listen

to the speech at least TWICE before you get this -- ESPECIALLY the remarks about "SECRET OATHS," "SECRET SOCIETIES" and "SECRET PROCEEDINGS."
Get it folks? This guy is talking about the very people that ultimately killed him.

Great speech given by JFK. He appears to have one great sense of humour as he somewhat roasts the newspaper men he came to speak for. His main topic of
...
the speech is how he believed in the freedom of the press, except in times of National Secuirity. In dealing with the threat of Communism, that he didn;t want to re-open the office of War Information, that he is trusting the newspapers to use their discretion. JFK makes a lot of interesting points, and is quite informative.
About the recording. This is one truly amazing recording as it truly sounds like it was made yesterday. Not a speck of hissing or anything. EXCELLENT job here. My only complaint that it ends prematurely, would have liked to have some fanfare after he finished, rather than the recording ending just right after the last word he says, But that's a minor squabble.
